MR ADESINA ABUBAKRE
Mr. Adesina Abubakre is the Bursar of Caleb University, Imota. Lagos. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He attended the foremost higher institution in Nigeria Yaba College of Technology. He obtained Higher National Diploma in Accountancy 1987.
He was part of the team that produced the brief prior to the University approval by the National Universities Commission.
He joined the service of the university after the approval in 2007 as the Chief Accountant and Head of Bursary and rose to the position of Bursar in 2016. There has been exponential growth in the university since then.
Adesina Abubakre has attended both local and international conferences for professional updates including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Boston in the United States of America (USA).
Prior to this Adesina Abubakre had worked in almost all the sectors of the Nigerian economy both public and private.
He worked in Banks, both in control and financial services, and rose to the position of Ag. Chief Accountant. He also worked in insurance company, advertising company, estate management and the Lagos State government. He made indelible marks at each of these points.
Adesina Abubakre attended Ilusin Grammer School in Ogun state and Western College of Commerce in Lagos State both in Nigeria for his secondary education.
Mr. Adesina Abubakre is happily married with children.
